You can support our work in a number of ways and we are always looking for willing volunteers. We hold a number of fundraising events over the year and always need a number of people to help things run smoothly. By volunteering you can become a part of our Trusts team as well as learning new skills and meeting new people.
Help out at an event
We rely on volunteers to help out at your fundraising events. Design the poster, leaflet drop, promote our events on social media, room set up, asking for raffle prizes, even making cups of tea on the day, there are so many different way you can help us at our events.
If you can give a few hours every so often at our event then please get in touch.
Become a Fundraising Co-ordinator in your area
Be a part of our Fundraising team, become a local fundraising coordinator in your area, responsible for getting a team of fundraisers together to holds their own fundraisers or tap into local fundraising opportunities to raise much needed funds for the Trust. Its costs us £100 to support children living in a household where Mum or Dad has cancer. We rely on dedicated volunteers to help us fundraise.
Stuff our Ozzy’s
Ozzy is our stuffed elephant we send out for comfort to each child referred into us. Ozzy needs to be stuffed ready to be sent out (bit like build a bear, but by hand and no sewing required). Full instructions and equipment given, really easy to do.
Like to iron?
Not many people like to iron but there some of you out there who find it relaxing, crazy I know! We are always looking for someone to iron on our logo to t shirts that get put on the Ozzy to be sent out to the children. Full instruction given.
Share your experience.
If The Osborne Trust have helped you as a child/young person or you as a parent we want to hear from you. We like to share how we have helped and the work we do via our website, social media channels and at events. Full support will be given at events.
